My Father’s Moon is a novel by Elizabeth Jolley, published by Viking Books in 1989. It is the first book in the Vera Wright trilogy, which follows the life of a young nurse in England and Australia during and after World War II. The novel depicts Vera’s childhood, her relationship with her father, her education and career, and her affairs with married men. The novel is partly autobiographical, based on Jolley’s own experiences.
