The King of the Golden River is a fairy tale by John Ruskin, illustrated by Arthur Rackham, published by George Harrap & Co. in 1932 (First trade edition). It tells the story of three brothers who try to reach the source of a river that turns everything it touches into gold. The book has 48 pages and contains four color plates and numerous B&W illustrations. Original stiff printed paper boards (foxed) in original matching dust jacket (damaged; split in two). llustrated endpapers with green design. Binding somewhat loose. Deckled leaves with light tanning. Overall, remains an acceptable copy.
